Ashes to Beauty

As much as I hate this part of winter…

slippery driving, snowplows and the road "rust" salt they carry
& 
near white-out conditions not to mention the cold - brrr!

There is still much beauty to the winter season too.

    I'd never heard of hoar frost until the other day. It is quite beautiful!

    Thank you Google, I now know what hoar frost is. In fact I saw a scene that looked almost like yours on my drive to work Monday. It was beautiful. But it became blinding when the sun came out.

    We've had no snow, no rain, nothing. It's so dry here my skin is about to snake off!
