This is what the “beginning” of a Midwest blizzard looks like.
I was able to leave the college early today before the roads got too bad and work from home this afternoon. What a huge blessing to not have to drive in this. I can do the snow part but I have this thing about being able to see where I’m driving. Yeah, I’m funny like that.
Glad you're home safe and sound. My husband's company called and told him to stay put today and to check with them tomorrow. Things must be bad! Well, it doesn't happen too often does it. I'm not used to horizontal snow! My dog doesn't want to go outside and he's starting to walk funny :D
ReplyDeleteit is so cold here in Texas..we have ice and snow...even DFW airport closed...which never happens...the windchill is unbelievable...so glad you made it home safe
ReplyDeleteWOW! I am glad you got home early. Looks as if you are in for a big one. We are getting all rain. I hope you get to stay in for the next several days. Stay safe and stay warm...Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful you got to go home early!!
ReplyDeleteGetting sort of tired of hearing it blow....
Stay warm and cozy. Based on your pictures, it looks like that might be a hard thing to do!
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm! The pics are actually quite beautiful to me. Looks like a great time to curl up with a blanket and a nice cup of hot tea and read - or just watch the snow come down :)
ReplyDeleteStay safe and dry! We have crazy ice here today-ugh!
ReplyDeleteIT's been really cold here too. If the wind wouldn't howl and take all of our snow to Texas, we probably would've had a foot of it.
ReplyDeleteJust noticed that your Snowman Header has a IH scarf on. Too cute!
Glad to hear you were able to get home!
ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe!
