We had our first bonfire of the season the other night. It was a little chilly but that made the fire feel even better.

There's something so peaceful and relaxing about sitting around a fire. We used to use our firepit alot, but the last couple of years we haven't gotten near the use out of it. Life just kind of got in the way.

Our goal this summer is to have a fire every couple of weeks. Hopefully, we can make that happen.

So...if you're ever in the mood for a nice campfire, come on over and we'll light 'er up.

  2. Hi there. I just spent awhile reading your recent posts and seeing all of your wonderful photos! I love them! The poem for Mother's Day...did you write that? It is beautiful.

I agree with you about the views you "wouldn't mind waking up to"...I'd probably spend all of my time just sitting and staring. :)

  3. Thanks for your comments. No, I wish I could take credit for the mothers day poem but that was sent to me last year on Mothers Day. I have no idea who the author is, but I thought it was beautiful and worthy of sharing as well.
