Could someone please tell me that eventually this pile of Christmas crap, oops, I meant decorative treasures will eventually make my house all pretty and festive cuz right now, I'm not feeling it!
When we went to the holiday showcase Sunday, I was starting to get excited about decorating but after hauling it all out of the attic tonight, I'm just plain tired!
Lori,
ReplyDeleteYour home will be even more beautiful when you are finished decorating for the holidays. I do understand your feeling though. Holiday decorating is hard work, I agree. I don't decorate much at all anymore. When I used to, I would decorate early and take it all down Christmas day. By then, I was ready to have my house back to normal.
I can't wait to see your 'after' photos. Put on some Christmas music. Maybe that will help you get motivated.
Michelle
Looks like you've got your work cut out, Lori!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I haven't got mine out yet, but I know where they are. I love it once it is done though. I can't wait to see your decorations all put out. Looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI have started too...but I only bring up enough that I can put up that day because I just can not stand the mess...yours looks so organized.lol Dianntha
ReplyDeleteHi Lori, I am catching up on my blog reading and have enjoyed reading yours! I think the hardest part about decorating for Christmas is getting the things out of storage. Then again, getting the items back into their storage containers and then back into the storage area is hard too...the decorations never seem to fit back into the containers. It sure is nice when the decorating is done though!
ReplyDeleteFall and Halloween are my heavy decorating seasons only because they don't involve all the ornaments and light stringing.... I do minimal decorations for Christmas. Like keeping it as simple as possible since the present shopping alone seems to be enough stress for me.
ReplyDeleteI love that little tree just like he is!
