We're on the road again...
We leave this morning to head back to New Orleans to work on a church we first worked on 6 months after Hurricane Katrina, St Luke's Church in the Upper Ninth Ward and work with their ministry His Hands 2 Go.
We are looking forward to serving our God and reuniting with old dear friends.
Please pray for our team, especially for safe travels the next 2 days as we make our way south.
Thanks in advance for covering us in prayer. Be sure to check back next week for updates on what we're doing.
Have a safe trip! Our prayers are with you and the whole team. Hoping you have good weather! ~Jeanne

ReplyDeleteLori - Just checking up on a few blogs. I hope you get a chance to post some pictures of your mission trip. Would love to hear how much progress has been made down there. We went with our church is November, 2006 and then again a year later, and was disappointed that not much had been done on the houses we had worked on. The park in your fall blog reminds me of White Pines, and LOVE your Minne quilt. I grew up with two Minne's on our farm. The MM 608 had power steering with a silver knob on the handle and I decided that tractors are much easier to drive with that "silver handle". I just thought that was the berries! Keep in touch.
