Not only did I dig out the Fall deco this weekend but the temperatures have chilled and feel like Fall as well – 60’s today and low 40’s for the overnight. But I love it! Fall is by far my favorite time of year to experience and decorate for.
A few of my decos….
I’m really pleased with how these two outside arrangements turned out. I’ve had the containers out for summer the last couple of years. The flowers had faded and they were looking a tad shabby and not in a chic way. I replaced the flowers, changed the greenery and added pumpkins. I love re-doing things I already have.
I decorate with the basics – berries and pumpkins. I try and keep it simple for the most part.
I found this little sign at a craft show on Saturday. It pretty much sums up how I feel. I really am blessed in so many ways. Of course, there are days it will be nice to have this little plaque as a reminder.
I don’t remember having white pumpkins around when I was a child, do you? I sure like them now though.
Have you started your fall decorating yet?
I usually don't decorate. I used to. Your home looks very warm and inviting. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLouie and I went for a ride today...with sweatshirts and spring jackets. Just right for riding, because the sun was out. We put on 100 miles. I did come home with cold feet though. Crazy weather!
I'm back in Louisiana on a mission trip..going home Friday...then in two days going to take the camper to Colorado so no decorating yet. But when I get home that's the first thing I'll do! Love yours..especially the redo. Blessings, Marlene
ReplyDeleteI especially love the first arrangement hanging from the outdoor light. I am not as crafty as you but would love to try something like that for my house. I love the fall-its my favorite season.
ReplyDeleteOK--confession...I'm dying for an old window frame...When my husband works out of town again I'm going hunting for it... It'll be perfect above my fireplace...
ReplyDeleteCan you come and put my fall decoratiaons out????
ReplyDeleteI love your fall decorating!!! May I ask where you got your "Be the blessing" sign? I would love to have one like that! I will be adding you to the blogs I love to follow! (I grew up in a small town in Wisconsi!)
